6th grade has been in the lab measuring volume and reading graduated cylinders. They've also been working on reading thermometers and measuring temperature in Celsius.
9/11/15
Students are working on Observations and Inferences and working their way up to the Scientific Method and learning the Metric System. During this unit, students will be using a lot of tools to determine measurements, while focusing on labeling their measurements with the correct unit (grams, liters, meters...).
9/4/15
All students will be starting the year off with "Basic Skills", to introduce new skills, but also to refresh them on previously learned ones, as well. In this unit, we will be working with the scientific method, forms of measurement, and observations, to name a few.
